I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Worship at Bayou City Fellowship is an expression of our commitment to lifting high the name of Jesus by singing God’s praises through authentic and biblical songs. Rather than one voice singled out over others, we strive to be living sacrifices, joining as one unified voice of praise to our Lord and King Jesus. We believe in full diversity of modern songs and traditional hymns that magnify all the characteristics of God for His glory. Our prayer is that you would experience God’s presence with us in worship as a family as we all fix our focus and intent on Jesus.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Rolanda Williams was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and from a young age desired to teach others the Word of God. As a result, the Lord birthed a children’s church program through her as a senior in high school, volunteered as the Children’s Director while studying at the University of Houston. Later, as a single woman, junior in college, and working full time, Rolanda birthed her beautiful daughter. With Makaylah by her side, she graduated from the University of Houston in 2007 with a B.S. in Education. For over 15 years, she has taught in public and private schools, homeschooled, women and children’s bible studies and an online tutoring to students in Beijing, China. Her fondest memories of teaching are from the four years the Lord provided for her to homeschool Makaylah, while attending Dallas Theological Seminary to begin her Masters in Theology. During her time as the Community Outreach Coordinator at a large Baptist church, she developed a passion for international missions and has lead street evangelisms, worship and prayer teams, served in refugee camps and red light districts, on five different continents. In 2016, Rolanda and her daughter relocated to Cypress, Texas, where and she is currently the Athletic Director and teacher at The Connection School of Houston. Rolanda is delighted at how the Lord is now allowing her to now work alongside Makaylah during her next four years of High School.
